A 2 Way Server allows data to be passed seamlessly between two or more flash games operating over the internet. The data can be game information, a conversation or even a file.
T-Enterprise can offer your Flash Game it's own 2 Way Server without having to subscribe to any third party hosts. We use the latest Microsoft .NET technology coupled with Flash XML Sockets technology to bring a fast, efficient and perfect 2 Way transfer of information.
So why would you need this? Here are some ideas:
- If you want a multiplayer game. i.e. 2 players or more can play each other at the same time in real time technology.
- Allow two or more players to chat over the game.
- Allow settings from one players game to be transferred over to anothers - this is particularly useful for card based games where one flash game will need to know what the other flash game's player has selected.
- A multi-level platform game that allows you to save your progress. e.g. a player can save their progress in the office and pick up when they get home.
You may not be looking for this level of functionality straight away however you can be safe in the knowledge that if your game required this in the future, T-Enterprise can provide this service straight away.
